Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in 1963.
“Flying Fairy Scattering Flowers”, made in 1980, was awarded the 1st prize of Jingdezhen Ceramic Art Fair.
In 1981, Master LiuYuanchang was in charge of the organization and creation of large porcelain sculpture project series entitled 108 Heroes in the Water Magin, which were consider to be the invention in the world sculpture history.
Porcelain Sculpture work entitled the “soul of Chu State, made in 1992 was award the Great Master Prize of Jiangxi Province.
Work entitled “An Old Fisherman”, created in 1998, was collected by Chinese Arts and Crafts Gallery.
Work entitled “Undressing Maiden was collected by Chinese History Museum.
Work entitled “Flying Fairy Scattering Flowers”,was collected by Zhongnanhai in 2001.
Work “Laughing Budda” was collected by Chinese Arts and Craft Gallery in 2006.
